The Kids & Baby Expo 2016
The Herald First Choice Kids & Baby Expo is set to take place at the Exhibition Level in the Boardwalk Hotel and Casino from Friday, the 7th of October, to Sunday, the 9th of October.
Entry tickets cost R 40 per adult and R 20 per child. Entertainment for the kiddies once inside will be free of charge.
The Kids & Baby Expo is for teachers, parents-to-be and families with children from newborn to 12 years old. There will be a Daily Entertainment Zone, Creative Corner, plenty of exciting prizes, free and fun-filled Action Area as well as a fab Family competition.
The Herald First Choice Kids & Baby Expo will run from 09h00 to 17h00 throughout the weekend.
ODI South Africa vs Australia
Currently, South Africa is in the lead with 3 ODIs emphatically won since Australia has begun their limited-overs tour of the country. The fourth ODI will take place at St George’s Park in Port Elizabeth on Sunday, the 9th of October, at 10h00. Come and gloat on a white wash of a win by SA should we end up with our 4th consecutive win in this series.

The Wingfling Rally in Port Elizabeth
Wingfling is an annual bike rally that lasts a full week, held by the Wing Riders of South Africa motorcycle club. This year, it will take place in PE for the first time. All Wing Riders, owners of Honda Goldwing motorcycles, are invited to be a part of this bike rally, which starts on Friday, the 7th of October, and ends on next Friday, the 14th of October.
At the beginning, the Wing Riders will start entering the city. During Wingfling, you can enjoy a variety of entertainment and charity drives, courtesy of institutes such as the South African National Blood Service and The Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds. All the bikes will be on display at Baywest on Sunday, the 9th, and the Wing Riders will be on daily outruns. It’s free to watch this exciting event, but there are tickets for a comedy show on Saturday, the 8th, and a live band on Thursday, the 13th. The tickets cost R 180.
